Nature house in Nunspeet

A lovely little cottage that truly lives up to its name “tiny” :-). You’ll receive a very warm welcome, communication is clear, and there was even a surprise package waiting for you in the cottage. It has everything you need (kettle, coffee maker, stovetop, a wonderful hot shower, and large towels), though if you’re on the petite side, you’ll need to stand on a chair to reach the contents of the kitchen cabinets or open the window—but otherwise, everything is within easy reach. There are blankets provided, but if you’re sensitive to the cold, I’d recommend bringing an extra blanket starting in October. I wasn’t able to be very active due to health issues, so I don’t know much about the activities, except that if you’re driving, you can be out on the heath, at a wildlife viewing platform, or in the woods within 15 minutes.

Heerlijk huisje, dat de naam tiny eer aan doet :-). Je wordt erg hartelijk ontvangen, de communicatie is helder en er stond zelfs een verrassingspakketje in het huisje. Je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt (waterkoker, koffieapparaat, kookplaat, heerlijk hete douche en grote handdoeken), al moet je voor de inhoud van de keukenkastjes of het raam open doen wel op een stoel gaan staan als je zelf ook wat tiny bent, maar verder is alles binnen handbereik. Er zijn dekentjes aanwezig maar als je een koukleum bent zou ik vanaf oktober wel een extra dekentje meenemen. Ik kon niet actief zijn ivm gezondheidsproblemen dus ik weet weinig over de activiteiten, behalve dat je als je met de auto bent, je binnen een kwartier op de hei bent of bij een wildkijkscherm of in het bos.

The cottage is located in a park, so in terms of nature, it’s not in the middle of nowhere, but there are plenty of trees in the park, and right next to it is a small forest with lots of squirrels. The birds are in the hedge, and you can see them in the morning when you wake up. A 10- to 15-minute drive takes you to the heath or the woods, where there’s plenty of nature. The Zandeplas is near the cottage, but you can hear the highway there, and you can also hear the train from the cottage, though not very loudly.

For future guests, we’d like to add that, as mentioned in the listing, in addition to the existing amenities, there’s also an electric heater in the tiny house. You can adjust the temperature to your liking, ensuring it stays comfortable even during the colder months.

Het huisje ligt op een park dus qua natuurervaring is het niet in de middle of niks, maar op het park zijn veel bomen te vinden en direct naast het park ligt een bosje met veel eekhoorns. De vogels zitten in de heg en kun je 's ochtends zien als je wakker wordt. Met 10-15 minuten rijden zit je op de heide of in het bos, waar veel natuur is. In de buurt van het huisje ligt de Zandeplas maar daar hoor je wel de snelweg, en ook de trein is te horen in het huisje, maar niet heel hard.

Voor toekomstige gasten willen we graag nog aanvullen dat er, zoals in de advertentie vermeld, naast de aanwezige voorzieningen ook een elektrische kachel in het huisje aanwezig is. De temperatuur kan daarmee naar eigen wens worden ingesteld, zodat het ook tijdens de koudere maanden comfortabel blijft.

It’s a wonderful place to get away from it all and find some peace and quiet in your own little bubble. Plus, there’s plenty within walking distance (shops, restaurants, nature areas).

Het is een heerlijke plek om even weg van alles te zijn en rust te ervaren in een kleine bubbel. Daarnaast is ook veel op loopafstand (winkels, restaurants, natuurgebieden).
