Our nature house is located on the edge of the forest—a charming wooden lodge that sleeps 6 people and a baby. This cozy vacation home has a warm, inviting atmosphere and is situated just north of Winterswijk. The sliding glass doors let in plenty of light and connect the indoors with the outdoors. From the couch, you can watch birds up close. The open living area features a comfortable sitting area and a large wooden dining table. The blue kitchen is fully equipped. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, each with a box-spring bed; one room has a crib. The bedrooms are accessible via a somewhat narrow wooden staircase. Upstairs you’ll also find the bathroom with a shower, toilet, and whirlpool tub; downstairs there’s a toilet with a vanity. Wi-Fi is available. There’s a cabinet with art supplies that you’re welcome to use. There is a large garden with a patio and a picnic table. The cottage is located in a small, quiet park on a dead-end courtyard, with parking for two cars on the property. The beds are made, and linens are included.

This nature house is located in the Rommel Mountains, near Winterswijk. The forest is just 50 meters away, and both the Mentink and the Korenburgerveen are within walking distance. The surroundings are peaceful, green, and expansive, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. You’ll hear lots of birds here, and the nights are still truly quiet and dark. The garden is spacious and still developing, offering views of the surroundings in some spots. There’s an extra-long picnic table perfect for gathering around. The large garden features sunny and shady spots, plenty of greenery, and tall trees—it’s a wonderful place to relax. Beautiful, serene, and practically furnished—and clearly still brand-new.
Spacious and fully equipped. Luxurious bathroom with a whirlpool tub, rain shower, and amenities like shampoo.
Spacious bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. Screen doors on the windows and fans to keep you cool on warm summer nights. There are even nightlights!
The living room features not only games and books but also supplies (and tips) for getting creative.
Large kitchen equipped with everything you could need, including coffee, tea, and various spices.
The garden features various seating areas, such as an extra-long picnic table and a lovely veranda where you can relax in the evening sun.
For the kids, there was even a gnome trail in the garden.
