The idea for Slow Stay came from a simple feeling: the need to stop time once in a while. As a family, we enjoy being together immensely, but we noticed how rare true rest has sometimes become. Even though we are true bon vivants, it is so valuable to also slow down in time. Whether you come as a couple or with the whole family, here you will find space to breathe, away from everything and closer together. The house is located in a small vacation estate on a hill at the beginning of a forest. Both from the couch and the terrace you have a beautiful view of the valley. Enjoy this beautiful place! Nature and surroundings
Our vacation home is the ideal base to discover the beautiful region around Coo. This region in the heart of the Ardennes offers a perfect mix of nature, relaxation and activities for young and old. Within walking distance you will find the famous Waterfalls of Coo, with an impressive 15-meter drop - one of the most famous natural attractions in Belgium. The surroundings are characterized by green valleys, forests and the river Amblève, ideal for complete relaxation in nature. Near the historic Abbey of Stavelot you will find the Spa-Francorchamps Racetrack Museum, where you can see old racing cars and motorcycles. There are also plenty of outdoor activities through Coo Adventure, such as kayaking, climbing and adventure parks, ideal for active families. The region is a paradise for hikers and cyclists, with more than 250 km of marked trails through forests, valleys and past panoramic viewpoints.
