This nature house is in a fantastic location right on Lake Paterswoldsemeer. The 80m2 cottage is situated on a 2200 m2 lot with maximum privacy. The authentic house was built in the 80s. No "Center Parcs" cottage so, but equipped with all comforts. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, kettle and coffee machine (beans). From the living room you have an approx 180 degree view of the lake. There are plenty of shaded areas in the garden. The private jetty is equipped with a swimming ladder. The water depth at the end of the jetty is about 2 m. The house can be reached from the Hoornsedijk via a 400 meter long lane. At the end is private parking. Through a short forest path you reach the house. 1 bedroom has a double bed. 1 bedroom has 2 single beds. Optionally, the loft can still be used, for example for 2 children. Be sure to use the SUP and the (gas) BBQ!
Nature and surroundings
The chances of encountering deer during your stay are about 100%. Driving down the avenue you will almost always see them in the adjacent meadows. In winter sometimes even on the lot itself. Groningen is a 15-minute bike ride away, P&R Haren a 5-minute drive. Around the lake are several catering establishments and there are several locations where (electric) sloops can be rented. With the available SUP a beautiful round around the lake can be made or the islands can be visited.
