Stone-built, warm, and full of soul. It smells of fireplace smoke and moss, old wooden beams and chestnut pie.. You don’t come here for Wi-Fi — you come for silence. Not for speed, but for time. Not for service, but for feeling Upupa is a place for those searching for something real — a reset, a breath, a spark of inspiration. Here, you can hide from the world, sit in a sauna while the rain whispers outside, listen to birds with a cup of hot tea, and remember that you’re part of nature. One day, we’ll host retreats and forest walks here. But for now — just come. The house is waiting. And the forest is too. Snacks, tea, and coffee are included. Breakfast is available on request.

The house consists of three sections, and only the middle section is available for rent. It has two bedrooms: one located on the second floor and another on the third floor. Between them, on a separate staircase landing, there is a bathroom equipped with a sauna, shower, toilet, and bidet. The first floor features a fully equipped kitchen. The windows offer a stunning view of the mountains, and just outside the house there is a outdoor dining area with the same beautiful view. There is also a barbecue area and an outdoor bed under the open sky and our lovely garden. About 300 meters away, we have built a wooden cabin where children can play during the day. It contains two beds, a sofa, and a small table. There is also a caravan on the property with a comfortable double bed. Deer come only to this meadow, so in the mornings there is a high chance of seeing them there. The nearest village with a pizzeria is 2 kilometers away. The nearest grocery store is 10 kilometers.
