Near the National Park Lauwersmeer, the Wadden Sea and the city of Groningen stands the more like 100-year-old farmhouse between the villages Ulrum and Niekerk, completely surrounded by fields and with kilometers of unobstructed views. On the large yard is also the vacation home. The free location of the charming house guarantees not only lots of privacy but also sunshine from morning to evening. Here you can enjoy the tranquility, breathtaking sunsets and a spectacular starry sky, because it still gets really dark.The house of a total of 42 m2 has a large room with a large double bed, a sitting area, a cozy dining table and kitchen plus a French door to the west. There is also a luxury bathroom with shower, bathtub and washing machine and separate toilet. For colder days the house has a central heating.No breakfast is provided, tea and coffee facilities are available.Pets are not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
Due to its remote location outside the village, the cottage's location is perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature already from the deck chair by the house. The pace of life sometimes seems a notch slower here. The vast, surprisingly friendly landscape full of winding roads past waving reeds, trees, farmlands and beautiful villages invites you to take a walk or bike ride right from the yard. The proximity of the National Park Lauwersmeer makes a vacation attractive for bird lovers and for stargazing. The ferry to Schiermonnikoog is 15 min away. But culture can also be experienced in the city of Groningen itself or in one of the many villages here in the region, where many artists live and many activities take place.
