A listed thatched-roof estate dating from 1780—situated on a small mound in the middle of a nature reserve, directly on the Elbe River in the Altes Land region. The sprawling estate covers a total area of 22,000 square meters and is accessible only via a private road. The farm is situated in the heart of the Asseler Sand nature reserve, known for its unique breeding and migratory bird populations. Despite its secluded location, it’s just under 2 km to the nearest shopping areas. In just fifteen minutes by car, you’re in the heart of the old town of the Hanseatic city of Stade. Located directly on the Elbe Cycle Route, a short bike ride along the dike takes you to the famous Krautsand beach on the Elbe. Here you can go swimming and enjoy the sun in a beach chair. In spring and fall, the Alte Land region is a unique sight with its cherry blossoms or apple harvest.
