Discover the Morvan from our completely detached cottage with beautiful views and a wood-fired hot tub on a plot of 4500 m2. The house is 104 m2, in the last two winters it has been completely refurbished and the bathroom and kitchen have been completely renewed. The kitchen is fully equipped. In the living room there is a pellet stove, a dining table, sitting area, wifi (free) and smart TV. There is a children's play corner with a table, toys and various games. Downstairs is a toilet, washer and dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. On the landing is a double sofa bed with topper. Comforters and pillows are provided for all beds. And there is a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Crib (with comforter and pillow) and high chair are available. You should preferably provide your own bed linen, but this can be booked in addition. You must bring your own towels and kitchen linen.
Nature and surroundings
The 'Parc Naturel Region du Morvan' is a protected nature reserve in Burgundy. It is a hilly area with beautiful views, vast meadows, streams and deserted roads - Lormes is only 10 minutes drive from our house and is a pleasant village with a jazz festival in July and the famous waterfall ' Gorges de Narvau'. There is a recreational lake with a beach - Corbigny is the other way at 12 minutes drive with two supermarkets (Super U and Aldi) and a cozy little center - A little longer in the car, so between half an hour and an hour drive there are several beautiful places to visit: - Vezelay: And old monastery / cathedral on a hill - Castle of Bazoches - Chateau Chinon: this is the capital of the Morvan on the way you come along the Lac de Pannecières. - Bibracte: a gallic city under the forest - Avallon Both at Lac de Panneciere and Lac de Settons it is fun to visit the dam and you can also swim.
