This lovely vacation home is located directly on the nature reserve Het Bönnink in Winterswijk. The garden offers lots of privacy and you can always hear birds; sometimes even a squirrel shows up. There are several cozy sitting areas around the house. In the covered shelter you can enjoy the setting sun in the evening.The cottage is fully and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances. There is a large collection of books. You have two bedrooms, and a crib (1.60 x 80) is also available. The beds are made and the towels are waiting for you. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub, a separate shower, a sink and a toilet. For small children there are stair gates and a highchair available. In the pantry you will find a washer, dryer and extra refrigerator with freezer.
Nature and surroundings
When you walk out the garden gate, you come to a dirt road that leads directly to Lake Hilgelo (800 m), where you can swim in the summer. Winterswijk is located in a beautiful old coulisse landscape with authentic farms and estates. You can walk and cycle endlessly. Everywhere you find winding dirt roads, woodlands, streams and vast forests. On the Boven Slinge are two water mills that are definitely worth a visit. There is also a vast moorland with beautiful boardwalks. In addition, do not forget to explore the Woold, a special nature reserve with its own character.The vacation park is directly adjacent to Winterswijk. By bike you can be in the cozy center in about ten minutes via park. There you will find a wide range of stores and restaurants. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a market. Also the Mondrian Museum, located in the house where Mondrian lived in his younger years, is definitely worth a visit.
