Nature house in Oignies en Thierache

The nature house was clean and fully equipped. A real nature house, yet with plenty of space. The shower was very nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Other than that, we spent all our time outside because the weather was so nice. But the living room is also spacious, and I think it would be fun to spend a winter here sometime.

Het natuurhuisje was netjes en van alles voorzien. Een echt natuurhuisje, maar toch veel ruimte. De douche was erg fijn en de keuken had ook alles wat we nodig hadden. Verder hebben wij alleen maar buiten gezeten omdat het weer zo lekker was. Maar de woonkamer is ook ruim en het lijkt me ook leuk om een keer een winter hier door te brengen.

We had a wonderful stay at the chalet. The cottage is beautifully situated in the woods. Complete privacy, a large garden with various spots and nooks to sit. So you always have the choice between shade and sun, which is nice during a warm weekend. A place to truly unwind, surrounded (in the summer) by the sound of birds chirping and other pleasant animal sounds.

Wij hebben een goed verblijf gehad in de chalet. Het huisje is erg mooi gelegen in het bos. Volledige privacy, een grote tuin met verschillende plekken en hoeken om te zitten. Dus je hebt altijd de keuze uit schaduw en zon, wat fijn is tijdens een warm weekend. Een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen met (in de zomer) alle fluitende vogels en andere gezellige dierengeluiden om je heen.

A really nice little house. Spacious and fully equipped. Great support from the owner. From here, you can take beautiful (driving) trips, including along the Meuse River and to lovely cities, even in France.

Erg leuk huisje. Uitgebreid en volledig.gequipeerd. Goede ondersteuning door de verhuurdster. Vanuit de locatie kun je mooie (auto-) tochten maken oa langs de maas en naar mooie steden ook in Frankrijk.

Am in love with this place! The house is fully equipped, you can sit outside in 3 places. Can't really judge how suitable the area is for activities. For that we were too short. We did hike in the property. Actually we preferred sitting outside by the house. You only hear birds. The house is located in a property. The drive through the property to your cottage is fantastic. Very hospitable reception by the hostess.

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien.
Je kunt op 3 plekken buiten zitten. Op deze plek kom je volledig tot rust.
Kan niet zo goed beoordelen hoe geschikt de omgeving voor activiteiten is. Daarvoor waren wij er te kort. We hebben wel gewandeld in het domein. Prachtig!
Eigenlijk zaten we het liefste buiten bij het huis.
Je hoort alleen vogels.
Het huisje ligt in een domein.
De rit door het domein naar je huisje is fantastisch. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst door de gastvrouw.

What a fantastic house, in the middle of nature. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. We heard woodpeckers on 3 sides, and in the evening the owls. Everywhere near our cottage the rhododendrons were in bloom. The houses in the property are far from each other. What a privacy! You don't hear any neighbors. Definitely worth repeating! Moreover, within 9 minutes you are in France. During this weekend we went to France one day, but the rest of the weekend we sat in the gazebo, on the sun loungers and on the terrace, reading and enjoying nature. Thank you Isabelle!!!

Wat een fantastisch huis, midden in de natuur. We hebben genoten van de rust. We hoorden aan 3 kanten spechten, en in de avond de uilen.
Overal bij ons huisje stond de rododendrons in bloei. De huizen in het domein staan ver van elkaar. Wat een privacy! Je hoort geen buren. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
Binnen 9 minuten zit je bovendien in Frankrijk.
Tijdens dit weekend zijn we een dagje naar Frankrijk geweest, maar de rest van het weekend hebben we in het prieeltje gezeten, op de ligstoelen gelegen en op het terras gezeten, gelezen en genoten van van de natuur.
