Nature house in Klarenbeek

We were mostly on the road, and we really only slept and had breakfast there because of the wedding we had nearby. Next time, we’ll make full use of everything, and I’m sure we’ll earn that extra point.

We zijn vooral op pad geweest en hebben daar eigenlijk alleen maar geslapen en ontbeten vanwege het huwelijksfeest dat we in de buurt hadden. Volgende keer gaan we alles gebruiken en komt dat extra puntje er vast nog bij.

A fantastically beautiful cottage, and the amenities provided—such as bedding, bath linens, and kitchen linens, to name just a few—were great. We’ll definitely come back again to explore the surrounding area.

Fantastisch mooi huisje, en ook de aanwezige spullen zoals bed, bad en keukenlinnen om maar iets te noemen, we gaan zeker nog een keer om ook de omgeving te verkennen.

Perfect, well-equipped, spacious, beautiful garden with terraces. Friendly people.

Perfect, compleet, ruim, mooie tuin met terrassen. Aardige mensen.

It had everything: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, combination microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, a wide selection of pots and pans, blender, grill, filter coffee and Nespresso capsules, electric kettle, induction cooktop, blender, and lots of little thoughtful touches in the decor—if you find yourself thinking, “I wish this were here,” there’s a good chance you’ll find it in a logical spot. Beautiful rain shower, two toilets, and plenty of opportunities to air out the space.

If you need anything, the hosts are happy to help—they’re two friendly and helpful people.

The garden is a lovely place to sit, and there’s a parasol too.

The supermarket is two kilometers away in Klarenbeek or a little further in Voorst.

Alles was er: afwasmachine, wasmachine, tv, combi-magnetron, koelkast met vriesvak, ruime selectie aan pannen, mixer, grill, filterkoffie en Nespresso cups, waterkoker, inductie kookplaat, mixer, en heel veel kleine attente dingetjes in de inrichting - als je denkt was dit er maar, dan is er groot kans dat het op een logische plek te vinden is. Mooie regendouche, twee wc's, goede mogelijkheid om door te luchten.

Als er wat is, kun je prima terecht bij de verhuurders, twee vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen.

In de tuin kun je heerlijk zitten, ook met parasol.

Supermarkt is op twee kilometer in Klarenbeek of ietsje verder in Voorst.

We were a little worried about noise from the train right behind the cottage. But there’s actually no noise at all, neither inside nor outside.

The house is right next to the forest, with a very spacious garden and a long driveway. In the forest, in addition to the gnome forest right next to the house—which is ideal for kids—you can discover a beautiful little lake and walk along narrow paths. At the back, there’s a typical Veluwe sandy path for further walks.

Further afield, there’s an incredible amount to do. You can go on beautiful walks in Loenen, and on the other side of Apeldoorn as well. There you’ll also find Apenheul, Julianatoren, and Boschbad. Further away, in Arnhem, for example, there’s Burgers Zoo. As for towns, Zutphen, Deventer, and Doesburg all have plenty of beautiful sights to see. You can definitely go shopping in Zutphen and Apeldoorn.

We hadden enige angst over geluidsoverlast van de trein vlak achter het huisje. Maar er is eigenlijk totaal geen geluidsoverlast, niet binnen en niet buiten.

Het huis ligt direct aan het bos met een zeer ruime tuin en een lange oprijlaan. In het bos kun je naast het kabouterbos direct aan het huis - ideaal voor kinderen - een prachtig meertje ontdekken en over smalle paadjes wandelen. Achterin loopt zo'n typische Veluwse zandlaan voor verdere wandelingen.

Verderop in de omgeving is er echt ongelooflijk veel te doen. In Loenen kun je prachtig wandelen, en aan de andere kant van Apeldoorn ook. Daar heb je ook Apenheul, Julianatoren, Boschbad. Verder in Arnhem bijvoorbeeld Burgers Zoo. Qua steden heb je met Zutphen, Deventer en Doesburg veel moois te zien. Winkelen kan in elk geval in Zutphen en Apeldoorn.
