Escape the crowds and enjoy peace, space and comfort in farmhouse, beautifully situated on the inner dike of the Tjeukemeer in Southwest Friesland. You will stay in a spacious 4-person apartment (122 m²) in the front house of the farm, with private driveway, private entrance and large secluded garden (890 m2). Spacious, cozy and fully equipped. Here you wake up with birds singing and views of the dike, pond and Frisian landscape. The apartment consists of hall with separate toilet, cozy living room with comfortable seating area, reading area, television and large dining table for extensive dining or entertaining games. Two spacious bedrooms with luxury box spring beds, fully equipped kitchen with oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine and bathroom with bath and separate shower. From all rooms there is a view of the garden. In consultation you can spend an evening relaxing in the jacuzzi. There is a charging station for an electric car.
Nature and surroundings
You are staying in a truly unique location: right on the inner dike of the Tjeukemeer. From the garden you can walk straight up the dike for a lovely walk along the lake. Fancy a day on the lake? Then simply rent a sloop at the adjacent small marina Fjouwerhûs and discover beautiful Friesland from the water. In the sunny garden you can laze around with a good book or drink coffee and have drinks by the water. You can enjoy nature everywhere with grebes, ducks and moorhens, hares and birds and with some luck during a walk encounter deer on the dike Tranquility and nature are central here - but there is also plenty to do. Within 10 minutes you cycle to a village with a supermarket. Within 15 minutes you are by car in Joure, Heerenveen or Lemmer with many nice restaurants. The attractive Frisian Elfsteden are a short distance away (e.g. Sloten 20 km), ideal for a day of culture, history and cozy terraces.
