Would you like to enjoy a vacation in France, surrounded by green hills, clear lakes and rivers and authentic villages? Are you looking for the freedom of camping, but with some luxury? Then we have the ideal place for you; nature campsite Les Trexons. On this campsite we rent out Safari tents which are spread over the terrain. The Safari tent is a robust 5-person rental tent built on a wooden platform. The safari tent is spacious and has 2 bedrooms, a living room and an outdoor veranda with lounge sofas. The safari tent is luxuriously and comfortably furnished with, among other things, box-spring mattresses, a mobile outdoor kitchen, hammock, Nespresso.Upon arrival at the campsite your safari tent will be ready for you and apart from hand and tea towels you do not need to bring anything yourself. A lovely small-scale campsite with nice Dutch owners!
Nature and surroundings
This is a small nature campsite in the Vosges Mountains only 600 km from Utrecht. A mountainous area with more than 20 mountains above 1000 m altitude. Add to this the many lakes, waterfalls, forests and wine towns of Alsace and you have all the ingredients for an active vacation. You can also enjoy touring cycling or mountain biking here. There are plenty of quiet paved roads, or forest trails that treat you to mysterious forests and amazing views. Col de la Schlucht is a very famous goal for many cyclists, and nothing like cooling off in the summer at one of the region's waterfalls. The larger waterfalls such as Saut du Bouchot and the Grande et Petit cascade de Tendon, but also great to play are the smaller Cascade de Charlemagne, Saut de la Bourrique (with nice walk there), Cascade de Piscoir (near Sapois) or Cascade de Rudlin. Plenty of entertainment for young and old.
