Are you looking for peace, space, and a beautiful view? Welcome to Maison Bleue, a charming 19th-century natural-stone house in southwestern France. Maison Bleue has been carefully restored and features a unique layout: the living areas are on the first floor, and the bedroom is on the ground floor. Thanks to the thick natural stone walls, it stays pleasantly cool downstairs, even without air conditioning. In the living room, you’ll find a seating area and an open kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, French press, small oven, and induction cooktop. From the living room, you step directly onto the large covered terrace, which features a cozy dining table, a gas BBQ, and fantastic views. On the ground floor is a comfortable bedroom with two box-spring beds (90 x 200 cm) and plenty of closet space. You’ll also find the bathroom with a shower and the (separate) toilet here. Surrounding the house is a large private garden with various seating areas and lounge chairs in the sun or shade. The perfect spot to relax with a good book.
Nature and surroundings
The vacation home is located in the hills above Labastide du Vert, on a small dead-end road with only a few neighbors in the distance. The surrounding area offers something for everyone: Active: Bike along the Lot River, go on endless hikes, or try kayaking. Culture: Visit picturesque towns like Albas and Puy l’Evêque, or admire the 14th-century “Pont Valentré” in Cahors. The Zadkine Museum in Les Arques is also a must-see. Culinary: Just a 7-minute drive away is Prayssac, with a variety of restaurants and cozy outdoor cafes. Don’t miss the large regional market on Fridays for the tastiest organic local products! The bakery for fresh croissants is just 3 minutes away. Good to know: The owners live on the same property. Although they’re usually out during the day, they’re always available to answer questions, offer tips, or help with translations.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €500.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
