Our Tiny house, a special experience in the Hunsrück Forest. The cottage is on a slope on our property and is not accessible by car. When booking you will receive an email with address where you can park your car. From there it is a 2.4km downhill walk via the long path or 1.2km via the short path. Directions are in the mail. You bring your own pack and we will receive you down at the Fettsmühle. Important: good (hiking) shoes. The cottage has a double bed, a small sitting area, a small kitchen with a 2-burner stove. Toilet and simple camping shower (without heating) are at 20mtr walking distance. The cottage has its own small electricity grid, for charging mobil but NOT for heavy appliances. So no hairdryer or airfryer !!!
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is in the middle of the forest, and a 50 min walk away is Germany's most beautiful Hängeseilbrücke, or Geierlay suspension bridge. So if you have nerves of wire steel then this is the challenge! The famous Saar-Hunsrück-Steig is easily accessible from the Fettsmühle (Stage 19), it is a beautiful hiking area here.

- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
