Nature house in Bantega

Located in the Frisian farmland, just a five-minute drive from the cozy town of Lemmer, you will find our cozy garden cottage with a beautiful unobstructed view over the meadows. The cottage is located on our own property of almost one hectare and is decorated with great attention to privacy and nature. Here you can enjoy peace, space and greenery around you. On the site are several trees with a path through them and there is an orchard where you can freely pick fruit. In the morning you can pick a fresh egg from the henhouse and in the evening you can relax by the fireplace on your private terrace. Just let us know and we'll put free wood for you. You reach the cottage through our garden. Parking is free in the yard and electric charging is possible by arrangement.

WALKING AND NATURE De Veenkuil - walk around the lake and spot the wild horses. Rottige Meente - a fairytale area, perfect for longer walks. Kuinderbos - fun walking route with sand sculptures for the kids. De Weerribben nature reserve: rent a whisper boat and enjoy! CULTURE, SPORTS & BEAUTY The Woudagemaal - impressive Unesco World Heritage Site. Tjeukemeer - ideal for swimming, water sports and beautiful bike rides. Lemmer - lively center with cozy restaurants and terraces on the waterfront. LIFE ON THE ERF In the yard walk our chickens and cats from us and the neighbors. Around the house you will find a wide variety of birds: from woodpeckers and storks to owls and other birds of prey. With a little luck you will also spot hedgehogs, hares and deer. GOOD TO KNOW You are staying in a rural environment. That means space and quiet, but also associated sounds such as, mooing cows, mowing and farm sounds from the neighbors.
