On a 6-hectare private property in Arrábida Nature Park lies this cozy, eco-friendly wooden nature house. From bed you overlook the ocean and at night the lights of Lisbon. The sunsets are magical and the ocean is only a 2 min walk away. The cottage is cozy and ideal for 2 people, with comfortable bed and small kitchen. Outside under the trees, you will find table&chairs, sun bed and hot outdoor shower with a view. The composting toilet and 12V solar panels make the stay sustainable and completely off grid. There is a USB/USC for your mob. phone. The area is rugged and beautiful, with cliffs, quiet beaches and hiking trails. Birdwatchers, surfers and climbers are in the right place. The village has a mini mercado, bakery, restaurant and coffee shop. Eggs from our chickens are for sale. Cabo Espichel is within walking distance, Sesimbra and picturesque Portinho da Arrábida are nearby. This nature house is the place for those who want to recharge and enjoy nature in its purest form.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is tucked away on 6 hectares of private land, in the middle of the rugged coastal nature of the Arrábida Natural Park. You are surrounded by a landscape where high cliffs alternate with sandy beaches; ideal for hiking, bird watching or simply enjoying pure tranquility. On the property live the owners together with 4 dogs, 5 cats, chickens and goose. They offer an atmospheric and authentic slice of rural life. The coastline has numerous hiking trails and there are plenty of opportunities for (wind) surfers and birdwatchers. Climbers are well catered for here thanks to well-established routes along the rocks. Sesimbra is the neighboring town with castle, promenade, eateries, small harbor and beach. The sea is calmer here. There are several activities such as canoeing, coasteering and taking a boat to see the coast. A short distance away is the little port of Portinho da Arrabida, for delicious waterfront dining. The vineyards with typical muscat grapes are also worth a visit.
