This charming, eco-friendly wooden nature house is located on a 6-hectare private property in Arrábida Natural Park. From your bed, you can look out over the ocean and, in the evening, see the lights of Lisbon. The sunsets are magical, and the ocean is just a 2-minute walk away. The cabin is cozy and ideal for two people, featuring a comfortable bed and a small kitchen. Outside under the trees, you’ll find a table and chairs, a lounge chair, and a warm outdoor shower with a view. The composting toilet and 12V solar panels make your stay sustainable and completely off-grid. There’s a USB/USC port for your cell phone. The surroundings are rugged and beautiful, with cliffs, quiet beaches, and hiking trails. Birdwatchers, surfers, and climbers will feel right at home here. The village has a mini mercado, a bakery, a restaurant, and a small coffee shop. Eggs from our chickens are available for purchase. Cabo Espichel is within walking distance, and Sesimbra and the picturesque Portinho da Arrábida are nearby. This nature house is tucked away on 6 hectares of private land, in the heart of the rugged coastal landscape of the Arrábida Nature Park. You’ll be surrounded by a landscape where high cliffs alternate with sandy beaches—ideal for hiking, birdwatching, or simply enjoying pure tranquility. The owners live on the property with 2 dogs, 5 cats, and free-range chickens. They offer a charming and authentic taste of country life. The coastline features countless hiking trails, and there are plenty of opportunities for (wind)surfers and birdwatchers. Climbers will find plenty to enjoy here thanks to well-equipped routes along the cliffs. Sesimbra is the neighboring town with a castle, promenade, restaurants, a small harbor, and a beach. The sea is calmer here. There are various activities such as canoeing, coastal kayaking, and exploring the coast by boat. A short distance away is the small harbor of Portinho da Arrabida, where you can enjoy a delicious meal by the water. The vineyards with their typical Muscat grapes are also worth a visit.

Super cozy detached cottage with insane ocean views and in the middle of nature. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets! It is simple but it has everything you need and nice bed. The cottage is lovingly decorated. Nuno and Suze are very welcoming and helpful: many thanks for a great stay!
Super knus vrijstaand huisje met waanzinnig uitzicht op de oceaan en midden in de natuur. We hebben genoten van de prachtige zonsondergangen! Het is eenvoudig maar het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en lekker bed. Het huisje is liefde ingericht. Nuno en Suze zijn heel gastvrij en behulpzaam: veel dank voor een geweldig verblijf!
Great cottage in a crazy place. The cottage is on a large piece of land right by the sea in the middle of nature. Lots of peace and quiet. You walk from the cottage onto the coastal path for hiking: towards Cabo Espichel (beautiful!) or to the beach. There is both sun and plenty of shade because the cottage is under a big old tree. There is a lovely lounge-bed (and a hammock) for reading. In the neighboring town you can eat delicious food, or shop at the market. You can also rent a canoe there to explore the impressive coast. This cottage really comes highly recommended. We will definitely come back.
Geweldig huisje op een waanzinnige plek. Het huisje staat op een groot stuk land direct aan de zee midden in de natuur. Veel rust en ruimte. Je loopt vanuit het huisje zo het kustpad op om te wandelen: richting Cabo Espichel (prachtig!) of naar naar het strand.
Er is zowel zon als voldoende schaduw omdat het huisje onder een grote oude boom staat. Er is een heerlijk lounge-bed (en een hangmat) om te lezen.
