The nature house is located on a small nature campground just a 20-minute drive from Mont Ventoux. Here, you’ll find yourself on the border of Drôme Provençale and Vaucluse, with a Mediterranean climate, charming villages, and beautiful, rugged natural scenery. The campground is quietly situated on a spacious, open site along the banks of a crystal-clear stream where you can cool off and where children play and build dams. The campground offers no unnecessary luxuries, but rather the charm of the French way of life. A small river, plenty of space (for play), a cozy restaurant with a terrace (delicious food!). A spacious swimming pool to cool off in. Attractively decorated glamping tents with a private bathroom inside the tent. The lodge tents are arranged in a row, ensuring an unobstructed view and the necessary privacy. The glamping tents are luxuriously and comfortably furnished with high-quality box-spring beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a luxury barbecue, a Nespresso machine, a hammock, and lounge sofas.
Nature and surroundings
The campground is located in the mountainous region of the Drôme Provençale, just 3 km from the charming village of Buis-les-Baronnies. Within a 30-km radius, you’ll find Provençal villages where there’s a market somewhere every day, and plenty of nature for all kinds of (recreational) activities. Mont Ventoux is perhaps the most legendary mountain to climb by bike. The summit of Mont Ventoux is 1,909 meters high, and from the campground, you can reach the base of the mountain in just a 20-minute drive! For a refreshing dip in natural water, head to Lac du Paty (35 min.), a reservoir in Caromb, or to the Canyon de Toulourenc, near the border with Vaucluse—a wonderful spot for a short hike through the water. A 20-minute drive from Nyons is the Nyonsoleïado water park. In short, plenty of ingredients for a wonderful vacation!
