Nature and surroundings
Calanchi Ring (CAI Trail 575): A hiking trail of about 11 km starts from the courtyard of the Cascina and passes right near the farmhouse. It is ideal for discovering the "Muriòn," curious mushroom-shaped rock formations similar to "stone characters." As you walk along the ridges, you can enjoy a 360-degree view that sweeps from the Bormida Valley to the Alps and the Ligurian Apennines. Don't miss Merana's Big Bench (Big Bench) for an iconic photo stop. The area is a mountain bike and e-bike paradise. The farmhouse itself offers bike rentals to tackle the trails that wind through gorse, thyme and lavender fields.Routes with different levels of difficulty are available, from quiet back roads for families to more challenging single tracks for experts.Being a bee farm, the farmhouse offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature through bee-related trails.
