The cottage and the garden were perfect for us, but also for the dog

Het huisje en de tuin waren perfect voor ons maar ook voor de hond

We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed interacting with the staff.

A very cozy and charming cottage in the beautiful woods. Everything we needed was there. Clean and comfortable beds. A great place to stay with a dog!

Heel fijn en sfeervol huisje in de mooie bossen. Alles was aanwezig. Schoon en goede bedden. Goede plek om met een hond te verblijven!

The cottage is nicely decorated. The bathroom is clean and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, we weren’t very happy with the kitchen. It was very dirty, especially the range hood, and there were items in it that were well past their expiration dates. An open package of chocolate sprinkles with a best-by date of 2023 really shouldn’t still be there. More than half of the spices were also past their expiration dates. Because of that, we spent an hour cleaning first and didn’t look any further into the cabinets. The light fixtures were all covered in cobwebs, and there were air fresheners everywhere that made my throat burn. The garden wasn’t maintained either, and the outdoor furniture was uncomfortable. We were able to look past these issues and eventually had a good time, but it took a while before we could relax because of these things. It says there’s a BBQ, but what we found in the garden we couldn’t really call a BBQ. The cottage has a lot of potential but really needs a thorough cleaning and a garden renovation. We got the impression that the cottage is actually used more for private purposes and isn’t really set up for rentals.

Huisje is leuk ingericht. Badkamer schoon en bedden goed. Helaas waren wij niet zo blij met de keuken. Die was erg vies, vooral afzuigkap en er liggen producten in ver over datum. Een open pak hagelslag tht 2023 kan er toch echt niet meer in staan. Ook meer dan de helft kruiden over datum. Daardoor eerst een uur gepoetst en niet verder in kastjes gekeken. Lampen met allemaal spinnenweb en overal geurluchtverfrissers die op mijn keel sloeg. Ook de tuin was niet onderhouden en de buitenset zat niet lekker. We hebben er best doorheen kunnen kijken en uiteindelijk genoten maar het duurde even voor we ons konden ontspannen door deze dingen. Er staat dat er een bbq aanwezig zou zijn, hetgene we in de tuin hebben aangetroffen konden wij niet benoemen als bbq. Het huisje heeft veel potentie maar heeft echt een grote schoonmaak en tuinrenovatie nodig. We hadden het idee dat het huisje eigenlijk meer privé gebruikt wordt en niet is ingericht op de verhuur.

And a forest garden is, as the name suggests, a garden in the forest. It’s nothing like a Vinex garden with artificial grass. That’s exactly what attracts our guests here!

Het bos is echt vlakbij, een van de mooiste bossen van Nederland.
-Reactie van de verhuruder 2023 was een heel goed jaar voor hagelslag, vandaar dat wij hem hebben gekoesterd.
En een bostuin is, zoals het al zegt, een tuin in het bos. Onvergelijkbaar met een Vinextuin met kunstgras. Hier komen onze gasten juist op af!
