Holiday home Kwispel is located directly at the Drents-Friese Wold and is the place to be for a relaxing vacation with your dog. The house stands in a spacious wooded garden of 1,750 m², fully fenced (150-180 cm), so dogs can safely run free. The nature house is comfortable and fully equipped for 4 to 5 people and welcomes up to 6 dogs. Please contact us if you have more dogs! You have a bright living room, fully equipped kitchen, luxury bathroom with bath and shower, two bedrooms (plus extra sleeping space), sunny terrace and a second terrace in the shady woodland garden. With parking on site, a lockable shed for bikes and charging point for e-bikes, everything is available for a carefree vacation. Where vacations begin with wagging tails!
Nature and surroundings
The surroundings of the nature house - get out with your dog(s)! This nature house is located directly on the National Park Drents-Friese Wold, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. With over 8,000 hectares of forest, heath and sand drifts and 23 hiking trails, this is a paradise for hikers and dogs. About 15% of the area is off-leash, where dogs are allowed to run freely. There is also plenty of choice for cyclists and mountain bikers thanks to the extensive network of bicycle paths and ATB routes. In and around Appelscha you will also find fun outings such as the outdoor pool, amusement park Duinen Zathe and Appelscha Outdoor. Prefer a day further afield? Visit Giethoorn, the Fochteloërveen or the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen. And after a day outside? Then this nature house awaits again - in the middle of the peace and quiet of nature.
