This charming traditional house offers you tranquility, seclusion & touches of luxury in a beautiful unspoilt valley. The house is situated at the end of small hamlet of Berzi ( below Bajardo). The house is semi detached ( it’s rare to see any neighbours ) You have private use of the house, terraces & undisturbed spaces. This house is our Italian home we use at various times of the year. The upstairs section of the house(not available to a 2 guest booking). where part of the house accessed via the main front door) has a large sofa bed in the living room. Downstairs there is a shower / WC, a small utility area & washing machine. The well equipped kitchen has a fridge freezer, oven etc. There are various outside shaded or sunny spaces to enjoy, including a paved terrace & terraces set in nature. In winter you can buy logs for the burner. Help yourself to herbs from our small herb just outside the kitchen.
Nature and surroundings
Set in a mountain valley not too far from the sea this is a fabulous location to be immersed in nature and to partake in cycling, walking, swimming etc. In this peaceful location guests can enjoy birdwatching, identifying butterflies, looking out for the variety of animal life in the valley and with the unpolluted night sky offering a wealth of star gazing. All this is right on the doorstep of this naturehouse. For those that enjoy foraging there are many local treasures to be picked from our garden and the close environment: hazelnuts, cherries, almonds, figs, crab apples. plums, mulberries, blackberries, sloes, elderflower etc. The hamlet of Berzi is small and friendly and there are many walks nearby. In the summer months shepherds bring sheep and goats to graze through the village each day, a charming aspect of country life. There is a beautiful historic church in the village which is sometimes open to discover. The location also allows guest to be at the beach with 45 mins drive.
