Wolkom in our camping cabin at campsite Zwanenburg in Jislum! A small cozy nature campsite in northern Friesland, come to rest and enjoy the rural Frisian environment.In the cabin is a neat toilet, kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, kitchen inventory.There are two bedrooms each with two separate boxsprings. We also have on our field a private shower facility The campsite has playground equipment for the children and they can sail the boats or pedal boats for free. Regularly there is a cozy campfire. Visit the Frisian Wadden coast or the nature reserves nearby. (Eernewoude/Lauwersoog) Go hiking or cycling. At 1km distance is a boat/sup/canoe rental to make beautiful trips. Or take the boat from Holwerd to Ameland! Wadlopen? City trips to the historic Frisian cities Dokkum/Leeuwarden/Harlingen are easy to do from the campsite. Or just do nothing at all. Rent the hot tub in an old buoy at the campsite.
Nature and surroundings
The campground is a small campground, very suitable for families with young children. Here you will find peace and quiet. This small cozy nature campsite in northern Friesland is located on a small natural lake with a grassy beach. Around the campsite you can enjoy the characteristic Frisian landscape with its terp villages. You can also make beautiful canoe trips in the immediate vicinity. From the water you will see the beautiful varied landscape from a completely different angle. The campsite is 2 km from the Eleven Cities Tour route. Come to this campsite if you love nature. With enough guests, there is a cozy campfire in the evening The children can build rafts or sail on the lake. There is also a forest of 3.5 hectares where they can build a hut. What can you expect in the area; Eetljemeer for swimming at 4km -elf-city Dokkum at 8km -Lauwersoog swimming and nature reserve at 25km -Leuwarden at 15 km - Zoo Aquazoo.
