A vacation spot for people who love peace, quiet and nature. The bungalow is located on a spacious forest plot with lots of privacy and several seating areas. From the cottage and the terrace you can enjoy a wide view over the meadow. In the evening there are beautiful sunsets to admire. Many birds and squirrels can be seen around the house. The cottage has a bright living area with a corner sofa, TV and garden doors to the terrace. On colder days you can use the wood stove for extra warmth and the cozy atmosphere of the flames. There is a modern open kitchen with all the necessary appliances (4-burner gas stove, dishwasher, combination oven/microwave, airfryer) and a full kitchen layout. There are three bedrooms with good mattresses and comfortable bedding. In addition, there are two bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom are suitably equipped for the disabled. A ladies' and a men's 7-speed bicycle are at your disposal.
Nature and surroundings
From the cottage you can walk or cycle directly into the nature reserve Het Korenburgerveen, with its fens, moors and forests, or through the beautiful coulisse landscape with its traditional farms. The recreational lake Het Hilgelo and nearby running streams are about 15 minutes away by bike. The village of Winterswijk is 3 km away and offers many nice stores, restaurants, a theater and an open-air theater. There are also several cultural excursions, such as the Museum Villa Mondriaan, The Museum Factory, the romantic garden Rosenhaege and an old quarry. Nearby, the beautiful towns of Groenlo, Lichtenvoorde and book town Bredevoort are worth a visit. In the wider surroundings of the Achterhoek you will find numerous hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes. A little further away are, among others, Ruurlo Castle and Museum MORE.
