A vacation spot for people who love peace, quiet, and nature. We’ve only had it since this year and would love to share this beautiful place with vacationers. The bungalow is situated on a spacious wooded lot (1,350 m) offering plenty of privacy and several seating areas. From the cottage, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the meadows. In the evening, you can admire beautiful sunsets. You’ll see plenty of birds and squirrels around the property. The cottage features a bright living area with a corner sofa, TV, and French doors leading out to the patio. On colder days, you can use the wood stove for extra warmth and a cozy atmosphere. There is a modern open kitchen with all the necessary appliances and a full set of kitchenware. There are three bedrooms with good mattresses and comfortable bedding. There are also two bathrooms. One bedroom and one bathroom are equipped to accommodate guests with limited mobility. A women’s and a men’s bicycle, both with 7 gears, are available for your use.
Nature and surroundings
From the cottage, you can walk or bike directly into the Het Korenburgerveen nature reserve, with its ponds, peatlands, and forests, or through the beautiful bocage landscape with its traditional farms. The Het Hilgelo recreational lake and nearby flowing streams are about a 15-minute bike ride away. The village of Winterswijk is 3 km away and offers many charming shops, restaurants, a theater, and an open-air theater. There are also various cultural attractions, such as the Museum Villa Mondriaan, De Museumfabriek, the romantic Rosenhaege Garden, and an old quarry. In the surrounding area, the beautiful towns of Groenlo, Lichtenvoorde, and the “book town” of Bredevoort are worth a visit. In the wider Achterhoek region, you’ll find countless hiking, biking, and mountain biking trails. A little further away are Ruurlo Castle and the MORE Museum, among other attractions.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €150.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
