Our vacation home is located right on the edge of the Wüstegarten and Kellerwald forests. Our two vacation apartments invite you to feel at home and relax, in harmony with the tranquility of nature. Our upper apartment, which sleeps 4 people, features the following: - Bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 m) - Sofa bed (160 x 200) in the connecting room - Living/dining room with a large balcony and a smart TV - Spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and other appliances -Large bathroom with a bathtub and shower Optionally, you can book our outdoor sauna (subject to availability) with a magnificent view of the countryside for an additional fee. (Usage fee: €30.00 plus electricity consumption at €0.35 per kWh)
Nature and surroundings
Our vacation home is located right on the 156-km-long "Kellerwaldsteig" hiking trail. It’s about 3 km from the house to the Kellerwald Tower. From there, in good weather, you can see all the way to the Harz Mountains at an elevation of 675 meters above sea level. In general, the Kellerwald House is the ideal starting point for hikes in the region. You can enjoy beautiful day trips through the Kellerwald, the Gilsa Valley, to Jesberg and the Prinzessinengarten, or through the Hemberg. Even the Hohe Lohr, with its radio tower, is easily accessible for experienced hikers. Our moorland trail is a lovely stop along the way to the Kellerwald Tower. Densberg is part of the larger municipality of Jesberg, which is located exactly between Kassel and Marburg (each about 50 km away). In Jesberg, you’ll find doctors, a grocery store, a bakery, a butcher shop, an ice cream parlor, and restaurants. Also in Jesberg, about 4 km away, is the recreation center: outdoor pool, Ninja Warrior course, skate park, soccer field, basketball court, tennis court, and beach volleyball court.

Free cancellation within 24 hours of your booking confirmation.
If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refunded
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refunded
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €100.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
