You will stay in a spacious luxury tent for 1 to 4 people, where outdoor living and comfort come together beautifully. Inside you will find comfortable beds for the whole family and a practically equipped kitchen with a gas stove and refrigerator. Showering is done in the shared sanitary building on the farm. Does it get a little chilly in the evening? Then the stove in the tent provides extra warmth, so that even in the early and late season it is wonderful to stay there. Cooking is done in the complete kitchen with gas stove, fridge with freezer and a Lavazza espresso machine for a good cup of coffee in the morning. There are plenty of power outlets for all your appliances. Outside you can enjoy the peace, space and green landscape around De Geele Bosch, where the children play in the fields and you relax while farm life goes on quietly around you.
Nature and surroundings
Around De Geele Bosch in Oldeholtwolde you will experience the peace and quiet and space of the Frisian countryside. The farm is surrounded by green meadows, with a small forest right next to the yard where children can play, build huts and explore among the trees. A short distance from the farm flows the river Tjonger, a quiet water course where you can fish, canoe or just enjoy the view over the water. The area is perfect for a relaxing walk or bike ride along meadows, water and characteristic Frisian villages. Nature lovers are also in the right place here. Nearby are beautiful areas such as the forests of Oranjewoud, where you can take endless walks along lanes and forest paths. Whether you go out cycling, spend an afternoon at the waterfront or let the children play in the woods next to the farm: at De Geele Bosch you will experience Friesland at its greenest.
