Spend the night with the comforts of home, but in the middle of the Frisian countryside? In this Luxury Lodgetent (1-6 persons) you will enjoy the outdoors with a surprising amount of luxury. You have your own bathroom with shower and toilet, so no shared bathroom facilities but all the privacy for yourself. Inside you will find three separate sleeping areas, including a unique double children's bed under a playhouse: a dream spot for little adventurers. There is also a comfortable master bedroom and an additional sleeping area. The tent is fully equipped with a fine kitchen. Thanks to the heating, it is wonderful to stay here even in the early and late season. Outside is a spacious veranda with chairs, picnic table, hammock and private BBQ, perfect for long, cozy evenings.And you can experience all that at De Bonte Fries in the Frisian Slappeterp where it is a colorful mess of all the different animals. Here everything is allowed and possible, led by farmer's wife Marije!
Nature and surroundings
Farm De Bonte Fries is located in the middle of the vast Frisian landscape, surrounded by green meadows, quiet country roads and small terp villages. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the wide views that Friesland is so famous for. The area is perfect for walking or cycling along ditches, farms and through the open polder landscape. The Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also a short distance away. This unique nature reserve is known for its special tidal landscape, birds and endless views of sea and mud flats. Take a nice trip on the dike, visit one of the cozy villages on the coast or discover the Wadden area during a day out. In addition, Leeuwarden is nearby, an attractive city with canals, terraces and nice stores. So you can combine the quiet life on the farm with nature, water and cozy Frisian towns.
