Nature house in Diemelstadt

The nature house is decorated in a harmonious, inviting minimalist style and has everything you need to enjoy a cozy stay. When you walk through the front door, you enter a small entryway that serves as a coat closet. That’s also where you leave your outdoor shoes. There’s a fully equipped, modern kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and everything else you’ll need. The small shower room, with underfloor heating, is equipped with an accessible shower. In the bedroom with patio doors, you’ll find a 1.60 m wide platform bed, and the other bedroom has two single beds (1x2 m) that can be pushed together if needed. The living room has a couch and a comfortable armchair from which you can look directly out into the forest through the large glass front. There is also a dining table with chairs where you can enjoy your meals. A TV and a small wood-burning stove complete the room.

Our nature house is an end-of-row house with a small garden in front and behind the house, located in Wrexen, which is part of Diemelstadt. You can park your car right in front of the house in the carport. On both the front and back patios, you can sit back and relax on the patio furniture while watching deer, birds, and nature at the edge of the forest. A grill is available. If you enjoy being active, you can walk to the outdoor pool (450 m) in the summer or take forest walks right from the house. There’s plenty to discover in the surrounding area, such as the Forest Information Center, 4 km away, which is a popular destination in any weather, featuring a café and a bison enclosure (free of charge). For cyclists, the Diemel Bike Trail (112 km long) is right nearby. The Diemel River forms the state border between Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia. In town, there’s a small Edeka supermarket where you can find everything you need for daily shopping. In the neighboring town, you can shop directly at private farm stands on the farms.
