The cottage is a 4-person house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, surrounded by no less than 3500 m2 of tropical garden. Completely fenced. This nature house has a large private pool of 32m2 (NOT fenced) and slopes gradually; from 120 cm to 200 cm depth. The spacious living room with wood stove is the heart of the house. With a spacious seating area and smart TV, it provides a cozy atmosphere. Electric heating together with the wood stove ensures wonderful temperatures in winter. There is a separate dining area with a large table. The kitchen is decorated in typical Portuguese style and fully equipped. The master bedroom has a large closet and overlooks the pool and garden. Sleep in the bed of 180cm x 200 cm with sun-darkening curtains. Air conditioning is available. The other bedroom is a spacious room with 2 beds of 90cm x 200 cm and plenty of closet space. The house is surrounded by nature with plenty of peace and privacy.
Nature and surroundings
This cottage is located in central Algarve in the small village of Porto Carvalhoso near Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo with the village of Tavira and Olhão at 20 minutes driving distance and the airport in Faro at 33 kilometers. 5 minutes drive away in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo you will find a bank, ATM, petrol pump, small supermarket, greengrocer, fresh fish and the best bakery for miles around. The nearest supermarket (Continente, Lidl and Intermarché) is in Sao Bras de Alportel a 10-minute drive away. Foodmarkets (fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, butchers, poulterers) can be found in Tavira or Sao Bras de Alportel. The nearest beach is in Fuseta a 20-minute drive away. If you want to discover the islands in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, take the ferry from Tavira or Olhão and explore the beautiful white beaches and blue sea.
