Welcome to this nature house, a warm and charming wooden chalet in the Ardennes. The chalet is located very quietly on a hill above Barvaux, close to protected nature and within walking distance of the woods. Here you will enjoy silence and space, without being remote from the life and experience of the region.Inside you will find a cozy living space with wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms. The windows provide plenty of light and a nice view of the greenery surrounding the chalet. Everything was recently renovated with respect for the authentic wooden atmosphere, combined with modern comfort and a warm atmosphere. Outside you can relax on the spacious terrace or enjoy the wood-fired hot tub in privacy. A place to slow down, unwind and enjoy nature together, while keeping everything within easy reach. Ideal for families, couples or those seeking peace and quiet who want to combine comfort, nature and relaxation.
Nature and surroundings
The chalet combines tranquility with an excellent location. It is close to nature and forest, but at the same time a short distance from many activities and places of interest. Just a few minutes away is Durbuy, the smallest town in the world, with cozy restaurants, local stores and charming streets. Adventure Valley, the river Ourthe and charming villages such as Wéris, Hotton, Erezée and La Roche-en-Ardenne are also nearby. Golf enthusiasts are also ideally placed here, as the Golf of Durbuy is in the immediate vicinity. The region offers plenty of opportunities for hikers and cyclists, with routes through forests, valleys and along hilly landscapes. Kayaking, mountain biking and outdoor activities are easily accessible. At the same time, the environment remains particularly peaceful, so that after an active day you can always return to silence and relaxation in a green setting, away from crowds but still centrally located.
