Welcome to this nature house, a warm and charming wooden chalet in the Ardennes. The chalet is situated in a very peaceful location on a hill above Barvaux, close to a protected nature reserve and within walking distance of the woods. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet, without being cut off from the life and experiences the region has to offer. Inside, you’ll find a cozy living area with a wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and three comfortable bedrooms. The windows let in plenty of light and offer a beautiful view of the greenery surrounding the chalet. Everything has been recently renovated with respect for the authentic wooden atmosphere, combined with modern comfort and a warm ambiance. Outside, you can relax on the spacious terrace or enjoy the wood-fired hot tub in complete privacy. It’s a place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy nature together, while still having everything within easy reach. Ideal for families, couples, or those seeking peace and quiet who want to combine comfort, nature, and relaxation.
Nature and surroundings
The chalet combines tranquility with an excellent location. It’s situated close to nature and the forest, yet just a short distance from numerous activities and attractions. Just a few minutes away is Durbuy, the smallest town in the world, with cozy restaurants, local shops, and charming streets. Adventure Valley, the Ourthe River, and charming villages such as Wéris, Hotton, Erezée, and La Roche-en-Ardenne are also nearby. Golf enthusiasts will also find this an ideal location, as the Durbuy Golf Course is right in the immediate vicinity. The region offers plenty of opportunities for hikers and cyclists, with trails through forests, valleys, and across rolling hills. Kayaking, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities are easily accessible. At the same time, the surroundings remain exceptionally peaceful, so after an active day, you can always return to tranquility and relaxation in a green setting—away from the hustle and bustle yet centrally located.

For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund

- No parties or events are allowed.
