The gîte is located in the left wing of our century-old farmhouse. The space has been carefully decorated while preserving authentic details. Thick, stone walls, wooden beams and round chimneys create a warm, pleasant atmosphere. You enter in the cozy living room with open kitchen. At the wooden table it is pleasant to eat or play games together. Portuguese pottery, antique tableware, special brocante: the cottage is full of such vintage gems. Also downstairs is the luxurious, beautifully tiled bathroom, with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. A wide, wooden staircase takes you to the sleeping loft, where there is a spacious double bed that sleeps blissfully. The cottage has its own spacious terrace with a large parasol and other garden furniture. It is lovely to stay here. You also walk straight into the garden, probably in a straight line to the pool for a cooling splash.
Nature and surroundings
Our property is private and hidden in the greenery, with plenty of space and peace. You can hear birds and further ... nothing. The view of the mountains of Parc des Monts d'Ardèche natural park is enchanting. When the sun sets, you can see the glittering lights of the village of Chomérac in the valley.Le Petit Moras is truly a destination for lovers of the outdoors. In the immediate vicinity you can take endless beautiful walks. Do you like cycling? That is also possible here. For example, a few hundred meters away is the Voie Douce de la Payre, a 21 kilometer long, car-free cycle path through the green valley of the river la Payre. Chomérac is less than 3 km away. The village breathes that typical Ardèchoise atmosphere. You will find a beautiful church, bakeries, restaurants and bars. On the village square, lined with plane trees, there is plenty of pétanque. Of the place, of the environment and especially of each other. We bet you'll feel right at home.
