A lovely vacation home, located in a villa neighborhood on meadow and forest edge. A deep garden with small pond and large veranda offer peace, space and coolness in summer. Inside, the living room overlooks the garden, there is a wood stove in the dining area and fireplace in the sitting area. The cozy, compact open kitchen is directly connected to the living room. On the other side of the hall are study and bedroom with adjacent bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. Also toilet next to the front door. Upstairs three bedrooms, bathroom with shower and bath, and separate toilet. All rooms have a beautiful view of the garden from dormers. There is the possibility for a fee once a week Indonesian food to be prepared (+ possibly extra cleaning). At the back of the garden is a thatched, pentagonal room, intended as a meditation room. This can be reached from a separate entrance and is occasionally visited by passers-by. Consultation on this is possible.
Nature and surroundings
Nature begins here in the garden with many birds (including woodpeckers, owls) and squirrels; deer and badgers have also been spotted! Countless walks or bike rides can be made from this wonderfully situated house in the Amelter park, on the edge of the forest, exactly halfway between Gorssel and Joppe. Each time there is a new dirt road to discover around the Amelte estate, through the forest, the scenic landscape, around the castle of Joppe, the Gorsselse heath or the other way, to the floodplains of the IJssel. Gorssel (1 km) is a beautiful village with several stores and Museum More. For children the adjacent playground and skate park is attractive, as well as playground the Bolderhoek (1.5 km) in the forest with cable car, various toys and high climbing frame and outdoor swimming pool the Boskoele (2 km). There are several restaurants nearby, but also Zutphen (9 km to the Houtmarkt) and Deventer (9 km to the Brink) are relatively close with good restaurants, art and culture.
