THE ENVIRONMENT The house is ideally located between Provence and Drôme, in the Drôme Provençale. Within walking distance is a small recreational hammeau with table tennis, a large shared pool with views of Mont Ventoux and a small catering facility where fresh baguettes are available in the summer. The area offers a perfect combination of nature, culture and gastronomy. Visit historic towns such as Vaison-la-Romaine, Buis-les-Baronnies, Nyons and Carpentras, or discover the many hiking and biking opportunities in the Baronnies Provençales. The Dentelles de Montmirail and picturesque villages such as Crestet and Séguret are also within easy reach, and the region is known for its Côtes du Rhône wine estates and excellent restaurants, including Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The legendary Mont Ventoux is in the immediate vicinity and offers plenty of opportunities for sporting activities and nature-oriented trips.
