Nature house in Compreignac

This nature house is a beautiful granite stone house, so old that we don’t even know how old it is. It’s a house with character and history, as it was once a postal relay station and later a clog shop. The house was completely renovated in 2025. Living Room Upon entering, you’ll find yourself right in the living and dining room. All the walls here are made of granite. There’s a large wooden dining table where you can enjoy a delicious meal together. A wood stove keeps you warm on cold fall and winter evenings. Kitchen Modern kitchen equipped with all conveniences, including a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, gas stove, filter coffee maker, and electric kettle. Bathrooms There are 2 bathrooms, both with a shower (80x100) and a sink. There are 3 toilets, 1 of which is in a bathroom. Bedrooms: 6 bedrooms, all beds 200 cm long. One room has a double bed; the other rooms have single beds. One room is on the ground floor, which can be used as a playroom when the property is occupied by up to 12 people. Garden 1,500 m² with fruit trees.

This nature house is located 500 meters from Lake Saint-Pardoux, 4 hours south of Paris, and 5 kilometers from the A20 highway. Lake Saint-Pardoux has three sandy beaches, all with a playground and a sports field. It’s a great place for swimming, hiking, and fishing. The ideal spot for active nature lovers. Plage Chabannes (1.5 km) has a water sports center where you can go sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and rent e-mountain bikes. Plage Santrop (1.5 km) features an indoor and outdoor pool with water slides, a water park on the lake, an adventure park with cable rides across the lake, boat and pedal boat rentals, a restaurant, and weekly activities in the summer. Plage Freaudour (4 km) features a wakeboarding cable lift and a water ski center. In the summer, food trucks set up here and there’s live music. From the house, you can walk straight into the woods, home to a large herd of (red) deer. Foxes, badgers, wild boars, and owls live alongside the deer in the forest. The meadows surrounding the house are full of horses.
