Gîte Rose (100m2) lacks nothing. The gîte consists of a spacious living room containing a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a dining area, a children's corner and a cozy wood stove. The open kitchen is equipped with all luxury including refrigerator, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee maker (Nespresso) and dishwasher. A washing machine is also available. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with a single bed. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a double bed and access to a covered veranda with beautiful views, a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a sink, bath/shower and toilet. If desired, a baby bed can be added upstairs. All beds are box spring beds of 2m10 long which are made up on arrival.
Nature and surroundings
Located in the Drôme, a department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, not far from the beautiful city of Valence, lies in the village of Charmes sur l'Herbasse, the birthplace of Facteur Cheval, our 18th century historic Mas. On the grounds are our own home, the gîte and in the spacious garden we have built a Tiny house in 2021. In the area there is plenty to do but also on our domaine you can enjoy yourself. The property is completely enclosed and therefore safe and orderly (very useful with small children). The parking lot, equipped with a car (fast) charger, is located almost at the beginning of the driveway so the rest of the site is car-free. The large garden (10.000m2) is available in its entirety for our guests and offers fun activities for children. From May to September we have a (set-up) pool available where you can cool off.
