The connections to Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station are also very convenient, about 30 minutes from Pontassieve. Just outside the house you can start walking in vineyards and olives fields, there are some easy but beautiful paths to make. At 45 minutes driving you can find the beautiful Vallombrosa Natural Reserve with green forest and refreshing paths.
