Nature house in Renesse

A beautifully renovated cottage where a lot of attention and care has been put into it. There were four of us adults, and the cottage felt spacious. The decor was cozy and very comfortable—finally, some chairs where you can really relax on vacation. The air conditioning in the living room was very pleasant; it was quite hot during our stay, but we were able to keep the cottage nicely cool with the curtains closed and the AC on. The beds were very comfortable, and we were able to keep them cool using the ceiling fans. The upstairs bedroom had its own air conditioner, and that was definitely necessary.
The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate for a vacation. All the necessary amenities were provided, and we never found ourselves lacking anything. One note about the oven: it’s positioned too high, making the controls difficult to read. We weren’t used to the induction cooktop, but with the instructions, it was easy enough to use.
The bathroom is small but very functional. There’s enough room to move around, and you can easily store your belongings. We hope to book this cottage again someday!

Een prachtig gerenoveerd huisje waar veel aandacht en zorg aanbesteedt is. We waren met 4 volwassenen en het huisje voelde ruim aan. De inrichting was huiselijk en zeer comfortabel, eindelijk eens stoelen waar je tot rust kan komen in de vakantie. De airco in de woonkamer was erg prettig, tijdens onze aanwezigheid was het erg warm en het huisje was prima koel te houden met de gordijnen dicht en de airco aan. De bedden sliepen erg fijn en waren goed koel te houden met de plafon ventilators. De slaapkamer boven had een eigen airco en dat was ook wel nodig.
De keuken is klein maar prima voor de vakantie. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig en geen enkele keer misgegrepen. Een opmerking over de oven, deze is hoog geplaatst waardoor de knoppen niet af te lezen zijn. De inductie waren wij niet gewend, maar met de instructie erbij prima te doen.
De badkamer is klein maar erg functioneel. Genoeg ruimte om te bewegen en je spullen kan je prima kwijt. Wij hopen weer eens dit huisje te boeken!

It was really, really quiet for a campground!! We were there during the second week of the early summer vacation, so not everyone in the country was on vacation yet. But the campground was fairly full and still very quiet. The beach is a 20-minute walk through a beautiful area. The path is paved and flat, so it’s easy to walk on. The beach is very clean and wasn’t very crowded when we were there. The tides are clearly noticeable on this beach, so if you really want to swim, check to see if it’s high tide. There’s a really nice beach bar right as you walk onto the beach. It’s a very pleasant and peaceful spot with a great menu.
Renesse is really quite touristy. The park-and-ride facility is very convenient for parking your car in the center. The weekly market there was a bit of a letdown—not much fish or produce for sale, though there was plenty of fruit. Otherwise, it’s the usual standard market stalls, selling everything from underwear to bike repair supplies.

Echt heel rustig voor een park!! We zaten in de 2 de week van de vroege zomervakantie, dus nog niet het hele land vakantie. Maar het park was goed bezet en toch heel rustig. De zee is 20 minuten wandelen door een prachtig gebied. De weg is geasfalteerd en vlak dus makkelijk begaanbaar. Het strand is erg schoon en was bij ons niet erg druk. Eb en vloed is op dit strand duidelijk aanwezig, wil je echt zwemmen tjek dan even of het vloed is. Er is een hele leuke strandtent direct als je het strand oploopt. Erg fijn en rustig zitten met een prima kaart.
Renesse is echt heel toeristisch. Het transferium is erg prettig om je auto kwijt te kunnen in het centrum. De markt die daar wekelijks is viel wat tegen, weinig vis en groentes te koop wel veel fruit. Verder de gebruikelijke standaard markt kramen van ondergoed tot fiets reparatie attributen.
