Come and stay in our cozy and luxuriously furnished house. Enjoy the peace and space in the house and its immediate surroundings. In this nature house you can sleep upstairs (on the mezzanine) or downstairs (in a bedroom). Upstairs you can enjoy a wide view over the meadows. The house is in our yard and has its own entrance, parking space and garden. Privacy is thus guaranteed. In the garden is a canopy where you can also sit. The house has underfloor heating and a wood stove. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, combi-oven and a Senseo duo coffee maker. The bathroom has a sink and shower. There is also a separate toilet. The house is cozy and contemporary decor and fully equipped. Trimunt is a wooded area in the south of the Westerkwartier on the border Friesland-Groningen. At about 5 km are the places Drachten, Surhuisterveen, Marum and Opende. Here you can get your daily groceries.
Nature and surroundings
The house is about 1 km from the woods and heathland (Jilt Dijk Heide) with its many pingoes. It is located in the Fries-Gronings coulisselandschap and you can make beautiful walks, cycling, jogging and/or mountain biking. Also 1 km away is Strandheem where you can swim in natural water. Because it is centrally located in the northern Netherlands, you can easily explore the provinces of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. Ameland and Schiermonnikoog are easy to reach from Trimunt. The Lauwersmeer area, the forests of Bakkeveen, Beetsterzwaag, the Haarsterbos and the Nanningabos are nearby. In terms of culture, you can also enjoy yourself here. The many museums, borgen, stinsen and havezaten offer many opportunities. There is a lot of heritage. The cities of Groningen, Leeuwarden and Heerenveen are about 30 km away. In short: a great base for nature and culture sniffers!
