This nature house is located right by the forest and has a large garden. Nature and surroundings
For the hikers: this cottage is adjacent to several hiking trails. You can start your walk from the house. There are several hiking trails through the Morvan Natural Park, including the Grande Randonnée du Pays. For the Burgundians, there are many good restaurants in the nearby villages and even a small beer brewery with its own cafe. For culture lovers, there is the Roman theater and a medieval cathedral in the nearby town of Autun or the large Celtic museum in Bibracte. Both are a 20-30 min. drive from the family house. There are also several flea markets in the area where you can browse. For lovers of natural water there are (barrage) lakes at approx. 15 to 30 min. drive where you can swim, sail, surf, fish or rent a pedal boat. Note: the house is accessed via an external staircase (see photos) and the bedrooms are on the 1st floor so the house is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly.
