Here you will enjoy peace, space and a feeling of coming home, surrounded by the gentle hills and wide views for which the Charente is so loved. The Gîte is ideally located, close to the Dordogne, giving you the best of both regions at your fingertips.The house can accommodate up to 4 guests and is furnished with an eye for comfort and relaxation.Several times a week you can enjoy our table d'hôtes, which Frans and Suse can provide on request. For longer stays it is also possible to make use of the outdoor kitchen, ideal for long summer evenings. Whether you come for a short escape from the hustle and bustle or a longer, relaxing vacation, Petit Menot offers you the perfect balance of comfort, privacy and the tranquility of the French countryside.

The Charente is known for its rolling hills dotted with vineyards; every corner of this department reveals a unique natural beauty. Fields of sunflowers and golden wheat stretch as far as the eye can see, while lush forests and meandering rivers invite relaxation and exploration. Characterized by small hilltop villages and medieval castles, the Charente is a true haven for nature lovers. In the Charente, you will enjoy being active! Cycling routes crisscross the department and you can kayak or swim in the Dronne River.
