Here, the indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly together. The cabin features a private waterfront terrace—a special spot to sit outside, take in the scenery, and watch life on the water go by. This Tiny House Cabin is ideal for guests seeking peace, space, and a unique location along the Frisian waterways. There is a sauna on the property that guests of the meadow suites and Tiny houses can reserve.
Nature and surroundings
The Tiny House Cabin is situated in the open Frisian countryside, with views of the meadows and plenty of space all around. From the cabin, you can walk or bike right into the countryside along quiet roads and trails. Restaurant WeidumerHout is located on the property. It’s one of Friesland’s best-known restaurants, where local Frisians love to dine and guests from farther away are just as welcome. We cook according to the “New Frisian Cuisine” style, using local and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant has limited opening hours; therefore, making a reservation is recommended and appreciated. Nearby are De Alde Feanen National Park and Lauwersmeer National Park, both a short distance away and perfect for a day in nature. Rent a SUP or canoe and explore the Elfsteden Route from the water, or hop on a bike and follow winding paths through villages and meadows. Leeuwarden is about a 15-minute bike ride away. Other Eleven Cities towns are also easily accessible and offer a nice contrast to the tranquility of the countryside.
