From the cottage you overlook the water and surrounding meadows, with constant movement of boats, birds and light. The cabin is compact and comfortably furnished for independent living. Large windows provide plenty of light and enhance contact with the outside. Inside and outside flow naturally into each other here, and the cabin comes with a private terrace on the water. A special place to sit outside, follow the landscape and watch life on the water go by. This Tiny House Cabin is suitable for guests seeking peace, space and a unique location on the Frisian waterways.
Nature and surroundings
The Tiny House Cabin is located freely in the Frisian landscape, overlooking the meadows and lots of space around you. From the cottage you walk or bike directly into the countryside, on quiet roads and paths.On the property is Restaurant WeidumerHout. One of Friesland's most famous restaurants, where local Frisians love to come and eat and guests from further afield are just as welcome. We cook according to the New Frisian Cuisine, using local and seasonal products. The restaurant is open selectively; reservations are therefore convenient and pleasant.Nearby are National Park De Alde Feanen and National Park Lauwersmeer, both a short distance away and suitable for a day in nature.Rent a sup or canoe and discover the Eleven Cities Route from the water, or get on your bike and follow winding paths between villages and meadows.Leeuwarden is about 15 minutes by bike. Other Elfsteden towns are also easily accessible and form a nice contrast to the tranquility of the countryside.
