Nature and surroundings
From your meadow suite, you can walk or bike right into the Frisian countryside. You’ll be staying along the Elfsteden Route, surrounded by meadows and water, in a peaceful spot away from heavy traffic. Restaurant WeidumerHout is located on the property. It’s one of Friesland’s best-known restaurants, where local Frisians love to dine and guests from farther away are just as welcome. We cook according to the New Frisian Cuisine style, using local and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant has limited opening hours; therefore, making a reservation is recommended and appreciated. Nearby are De Alde Feanen National Park and Lauwersmeer National Park, both a short distance away and perfect for a day in nature. Rent a SUP or canoe and explore the Elfsteden Route from the water, or hop on a bike and follow winding paths through villages and meadows. Leeuwarden is about a 15-minute bike ride away. Other towns along the Elfsteden Route are also easily accessible and offer a lovely contrast to the tranquility of the countryside.

For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
