Old stone Country House located on the top of an uncontaminated hill in a secluded atmosphere, with stunning 360° panoramas over the hills and the Arno river. Surrounded by private olives grooves, the accommodation offers an ideal mix between peaceful relaxation and opportunities for outdoor activities. With easy access to Florence (18 km) and major arts sites of Tuscan region such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, the wine Chianti area and many others landscaping or trekking attractions. Apartment has a small patio before the entrance. Inside 2 double bedrooms, another double with 2 single beds, and a single room. A spacious living, a well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms with shower. Rooms are cozy and comfortables all with panoramic windows and mosquito net. The place is decorated with characteristic elements of tuscan "rustico" such as terracotta tiles, beamed ceilings. There is a free internet connection in the house and garden, a private parking and washing for free use.

Nature and surroundings

Hosts can enjoy a beautiful shared garden with panoramic pool equipped with outdoor furniture and a shaded pergola with a dining table . Then a big green garden with several lounge, reading and eating areas with BBQ and a refreshing gazebo. There's a grocery store/bar/restaurant about 1 km away. In the villages of Rignano sull'Arno and Pontassieve, you'll find Supermarkets and all the main services. The connections to Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station are also very convenient, about 30 minutes from Pontassieve. Just outside the house you can start walking in vineyards and olives fields, there are some easy but beautiful paths to make. At 45 minutes driving you can find the beautiful Vallombrosa Natural Reserve with green forest and refreshing paths. Other beautiful trekking path are in the Montegiovi's ring (45 minutes with car), or the Casentino's national park reachable in 1 hr driving.
