The charming cottage is your peaceful base in beautiful Piedmont. In the Alta Langa the landscape is rugged, authentic, higher (up to 900 meters) and wooded. Characteristic are the villages built of pietra di Langa (local sandstone). Places like Bergolo, Cortemilia and Murazzano feel medieval and timeless, far away from the hustle and bustle. The immediate vicinity of this nature house offers plenty of variety: cycling, hiking, swimming, visiting markets, going to Genoa, Turin, the sea....and the Barolo wine region nearby. The nature house is a tastefully decorated old farmhouse, with authentic style elements, atmosphere and comfort. Layout: cozy semi-open kitchen, lounge, two bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room, spread over two floors. Around the house an enclosed garden with fruit and olive trees, a sheltered patio and a sunny terrace where you can enjoy the view but also find shade from the vines.
Nature and surroundings
This vacation home is located at 600 meters altitude in the hilly, rolling countryside of the Langhe and Bormida Valley. The area is characterized by vineyards, forests, medieval villages and the proximity to the Alps, an area full of culinary delights (truffles, wines, hazelnuts), hiking and biking opportunities, with the Alpine massif as a majestic backdrop. In nearby Salicetto and Monesiglio you will find small supermarket, a fresh bakery and butcher, cafes and restaurants. A little further away you will find the charming and authentic towns of Millesimo, Cortemilia and Ceva. With more nice stores and boutiques and good weekly markets. On hot days we cool off in the river Bormida, the local swimming pool in Camerana, the eye-catching reservoir at Osiglia or in the Mediterranean Sea. A little lower on the mountain you will find winery Magliano. In addition to fine wines, you can use their pool and breakfast service (by appointment).
