The charming vacation home Casa Rosetta is your peaceful base in beautiful Piedmont. In the Alta Langa, the landscape is rugged, authentic, higher in elevation (up to 900 meters), and forested. The villages, built from pietra di Langa (local sandstone), are a defining feature of the region. Places like Bergolo, Cortemilia, and Murazzano have a medieval and timeless feel, far removed from the hustle and bustle. The immediate surroundings of this nature house offer plenty of variety: biking, hiking, swimming, visiting markets, trips to Genoa, Turin, the coast… and the Barolo wine region nearby. The nature house is a tastefully decorated old farmhouse, featuring authentic style elements, charm, and comfort. Layout: cozy semi-open kitchen, living area, two bedrooms, new bathroom with laundry area, separate toilet, spread over two floors. Surrounding the house is a modest fenced-in garden with lavender, roses, fruit and olive trees, a sheltered patio, and a sunny terrace where you can enjoy the view while also finding shade under the grapevines.

This vacation home is located at an elevation of 600 meters in the hilly, rolling landscape of the Langhe and the Bormida Valley. The area is characterized by forests, hazelnut groves, medieval villages, and its proximity to the Alps—a region rich in culinary delights (truffles, wines, hazelnuts), hiking and biking opportunities, with the Alpine massif serving as a majestic backdrop. The area is known for its many cycling and hiking trails. In nearby Salicetto and Monesiglio, you’ll find a small supermarket, a bakery and butcher selling fresh goods, cafes, and restaurants. A short drive away are the charming and authentic towns of Millesimo, Cortemilia, and Ceva, with more delightful shops and boutiques, as well as excellent weekly markets. On hot days, we cool off in the Bormida River, the local swimming pool in Camerana, the picturesque reservoir near Osiglia, or in the Mediterranean Sea. A little further down the mountain, you’ll find the Magliano Winery. In addition to fine wines, you can also use their pool and breakfast service (by appointment).
