NEW nature house! While it is cold outside, the Morsø wood stove burns warm and cosy inside! Peace and quiet come together in this spacious and beautiful house. From the living room you have a far view over the meadows towards Lauwersmeer. From the kitchen you can see the goats grazing in the culturally historic Coulisse landscape between the characteristic alder bushes. With the good quality beds, spacious kitchen and living room with wood stove, the house is suitable for at least 6 persons. You stay between the farmlands of a small-scale biodynamic goat farm where much attention is paid to soil, nature and animals. You can buy the delicious cheese and high quality meat from the farm. This is a place for people who love nature and craft. When booking in February and March, you get a free tour.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located in Noard-East Fryslân, an undiscovered pearl in the north of Friesland. On the border of the clay towards the Lauwersmeer area and the Coulisse landscape is the biodynamic goat farm, with 'it bourhûs' as neighboring house. The house is surrounded by the farm lands, where you can see the goats grazing and the landscape changes character every season. At night, when the sky is clear, you can see rare stars, unique to this area. In the immediate vicinity are many beautiful cycling and walking routes, through open fields, along wooded banks and quiet villages. Within twenty minutes you are in Lauwersoog, where the boat leaves for Schiermonnikoog, and so the Lauwersmeer area is also close by. A quiet, pure environment for people who love space, nature and simplicity. Both Kollum and Aldwâld are characterized by beautiful historic buildings, the picturesque town of Dokkum can be reached within 15 min. There are beautiful farm stores nearby.
