Our guesthouse in Hummelo is a nice place for those who want to enjoy peace, space and nature. Located near the forest and with unobstructed views over the meadows, here you experience the real outdoor feeling with beautiful skies and sunsets. On the ground floor is a spacious, comfortable room with dining table and chairs and two nice chairs to relax. You will also find a modern walk-in shower, a separate toilet and a countertop with a small refrigerator. Coffee and tea facilities provide extra comfort. Upstairs is a spacious double room with a comfortable double box spring. In addition, there is a couch on the mezzanine that can be easily converted into a double sofa bed, making the stay suitable for several guests. Outside, you can use a seating area in the garden and for children there is a trampoline. Our guesthouse is without breakfast, but offers everything for a relaxing stay in a beautiful and green environment.
Nature and surroundings
The location of the guesthouse is unique: in the pearl of the Achterhoek, surrounded by greenery and within walking distance of the beautiful Kruisberg Woods. These woods are part of estate Hagen, a varied area with coniferous and deciduous forests, fens, fields and characteristic hedgerows. The area is perfect for walking and cycling through the beautiful landscape, past estates, castles and vast farmlands. The village of Hummelo is about 2.5 km away. Here you will find, among other things, a supermarket and several restaurants. Within walking distance of the guesthouse is also restaurant Het Wapen van Heeckeren, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner, weather permitting on the terrace among the trees. The cozy towns and villages Doesburg, Bronkhorst, Doetinchem, Hengelo(gld), Zelhem and Zutphen are less than 25 minutes away.
