Nature house in Frankenau

Welcome to our charming wooden vacation home with a wood-burning stove and sauna. The house is located on the edge of the Feriendorf Frankenau park, right next to the forest and the Kellerwald National Park. A place where peace, nature, and relaxation take center stage. Did you know that wooden houses are much healthier to live in? The house is alive, and you’ll hear it from time to time. This house shrinks by about 15 cm after construction; the building was designed with this in mind, which is no easy feat. The house is comfortable and fully furnished, featuring a wood stove, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a sauna, and a spacious walk-in shower. The wooden house accommodates up to 5 people, and pets are welcome.

Located in the southeastern part of the Sauerland region, in Hesse. The vacation home is situated in the village of Frankenau. Nestled against the hillside, right next to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, lies the small, spacious, and peaceful vacation village of Frankenau. From Frankenau, there are various excursions you can take. In winter, you can enjoy the various ski resorts. In summer, there’s plenty to do as well. The Edersee (a 15-minute drive) is within easy reach. This is a very large reservoir that is definitely worth a visit! There are also several towns and villages to explore where you can still admire authentic half-timbered houses. Nature takes center stage in every season. This nature house is situated in a scenic and peaceful setting. If you look up at the stars at night, you’ll see a crystal-clear sky, free of light pollution (the lights in the park turn off at midnight).
