Stay in an attractive and spacious apartment for up to five people, built in a place full of memories and history. Where now stands a warm and comfortable vacation apartment, in the winter the cows used to be stabled. In summer, this place turned into the playground of the children of old. In the old beams you can still see the metal rings where the swings used to hang. Sometimes guests of around seventy-five come in here and point out exactly where they used to play. That's what makes this place special. You still feel something of the old farm life here, but combined with peace, comfort and the outdoor life of today. The apartment is tastefully decorated with a cozy living room, complete kitchen, comfortable beds and a private terrace outside. A place to come home to after a day on the water or in nature. Small-scale, personal and with the relaxed atmosphere that fits so well with De Tijnjehoeve.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of the Frisian landscape, between the water, the reeds and the vast meadows of Southwest Friesland. From the apartment you can walk or cycle straight into nature. A short distance away are charming villages, small harbors and quiet waterways where Friesland still feels really quiet. From The Tijnjehoeve you can sail directly into the Frisian lake district. With a sloop, canoe or sup you discover the silence of narrow canals and hidden spots among the reeds. Sneek, Joure and the surrounding villages are also close by for a terrace, market or a day of shopping. But perhaps the best thing here is the peace and quiet. Waking up with birdsong, drinking coffee in the morning sun and hearing the silence over the water in the evening. A place where life is allowed to slow down for a moment.
