The cottage isn't big, but it's cozy and has everything you need for a quick getaway. The stairs don't have a handrail, so you'll need to be extra careful when using them.

Het huisje is niet groot, maar knus en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor er eventjes tussenuit zijn. De trap heeft geen leuning. Waardoor je extra voorzichtig moet zijn met het betreden hiervan.

You can drive to nearby hiking trails.
We were lucky to have wonderful weather. We took a walk in the area with the dog and sat outside by the cottage. Inside the cottage, it’s a bit dark, so you’ll likely end up with the lights on.
Walking the dog involves walking along a road that isn’t too busy. But especially in the morning and evening when it’s dark, it’s important to make sure you’re clearly visible.
We saw storks in the field across from the cottage and enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature.

Vrijstaand huisje in landelijke omgeving, trein rijdt in de buurt en vliegtuigjes vliegen over, maar dat hebben wij niet als storend ervaren.
Met de auto kan je naar wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt rijden.
Wij hadden het geluk dat het heerlijk weer was. We hebben een wandeling in de buurt gemaakt met de hond en buiten gezeten bij het huisje. Binnen in het huisje is het wat donker. Dus daar zit je al snel met het licht aan.
Het uitlaten tussendoor is langs een niet al te drukke weg. Maar zeker in de ochtend en avond als het donker is, is je goed zichtbaar maken wel belangrijk.
We hebben ooievaars gezien op het veld tegenover het huisje en hebben genoten van de rust en de natuur.

A frying pan could be replaced with one that has a thicker bottom, so that it sits flat on the stovetop.

Een koekenpan zou vervangen kunnen worden door een met dikkere bodem, zodat die vlak op kookplaat staat.

Mooi huisje, lekker rustig vriendelijke eigenaren

Nice little cottage—small but cozy.
Close to the forest, but dogs weren't allowed off-leash there. The nearest off-leash area was 16 km away.

Dichtbij bos, echter mocht daar de hond niet los. Dichtstbijzijnde losloopgebied lag op 16 km afstand.

The cottage was clean, though a bit smaller than I expected. The front door is secured with a padlock, which I found inconvenient. Also, because of the small windows, there wasn’t much natural light, so we had to keep the lights on all day.
Other than that, it was nice and quiet, and everything we needed was there. The landlord is very friendly.
I had a great time there with my dog.

Huisje was schoon, wat kleiner dan gedacht. De buitendeur is met een hangslot en dat vond ik lastig. Ook was er door de kleine ramen weinig lichtinval en dus de hele dag het licht aan.
Verder lekker rustig en was alles aanwezig. De verhuurder is erg vriendelijk.
Ik heb er met m8jn hond een fijne tijd gehad.
